This teeny one is another Amanda Berry pattern. I just knitted him up in 15 minutes. He would make a great tree decoration or stocking filler. I love to try these.

And what do we find along with penguins?…….

i have been trying to finish off projects started months, sometimes years ago. I enjoy craft magazines and buy almost all of them each month. I find knitting very relaxing and enjoy other blogs. Amanda Berry, Barbara Prime, Alan Dart.

My Bob and Bella mouse characters are knitted up from a Barbara Prime pattern, Holiday Mice which can be found on her website.

What keeps me sane!

Over the last months many thing have changed in the Smith family.

Student boy moved out, leaving me with a possible space to set up my sewing machine and spread out my crafting goodies . This was going to be a place where out could shut the door to keep out the kitties. Crumble just enjoys looking, but has a thing for stealing one of anything. Such as pins, buttons, bits of felt, anything she can hide and play with later, even if it’s glued on! Salem is just looking for a spot to sleep and keep out of Crumble’s way, usually in my knitting.

sashaCraft Space

Well here we are after 19 months of silence. Apologies, but sometimes life takes over. Job hunting, illness, general chaos of life, had all gotten in the way. I am busy again with crafts, new crafts. Knitting, Now sewing, as my craft space is complete. Its the spare room but still with the bed for only Son when he needs it. It looks a small portion of the room but I am gradually taking over!

After a hectic year which began after finding a lump in my breast.  I am glad to say I am now whole and complete.

In May we lost our beautiful dog Sasha. She was a loyal friend and member of our family, at 16 she died one week before her birthday. we were all there at the end, even Lucy our Jack Russell. It was a peaceful end for a graceful and dignified lady. Thank you Sasha for everything you brought into our lives.
